Campaign Objective

To help Orphans & Quran students to enroll in UAIM Quran memorization program. This campaign aims at sponsoring 25 Qur'an Students who are in the process of memorizing the Quran, while they journey to become the custodians of the Book of Allah.

It costs around $3 USD  per day to sponsor a Rohingya Orphan / Refugee child to live and study the Quran in Malaysia

This includes Accommodation, Food, Clothing, and their Quran Classes.

As young as 6 years old, these children lived through horrors beyond imagination.

Many of them witnessed their parents and family members get executed and their village burned down.

They had to flee by boat, and trek in the jungles for weeks, hoping to arrive somewhere safe.

When they finally found themselves in Malaysia, they were unable to legally work or go to school as a refugee.

Many of them memorize the entire Quran within 2-3 years.

• UAIM started with around 12 students in 2015 and now looks after more than 120 orphans and refugee children.
• There are currently 25 students in the Quran program at UAIM
• 15 of them are Oprhans
• A total of 10 Rohingya children have already memorized the Quran at UAIM

As a UNHCR-recognized organization, we are primarily run by volunteers and rely on donations from the community to sustain ourselves. 

Alhamdulilah, with the help of Muslims around the world just like you, we have supported tens of thousands of Rohingya Refugees!

Funds Needed

In order to support these 25 orphans, we need to raise a total of RM10,500. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,” and he held his two fingers together to illustrate.
