Sponsor Iftar for Quran Students in Uganda this Ramadan 1445H

Campaign Objective

To sponsor daily Iftar meals for orphans for the month of Ramadan. Proceeds will be used to sponsor the daily Iftar meals for 50 orphan Quran students this Ramadan 1445H.

Story

Alhaal Muslim Charity organisation in Uganda was established in the city of Mable, Uganda with the mission of serving the community of Ugandan Muslims in their Islamic education. A solid foundation of education and training in the religion is the basis of a successful Muslim community, which would in turn produce a better global Ummah.

Hence it is the vision of Alhaal Muslim Charity to ensure that every individual Muslim under their care gets the rightfully guided knowledge from proper teachers of the Deen. This is to ensure that the next generation of Muslims will be properly equipped with Islamic knowledge to go through life and as a community of good practicing Muslims.

The village of Bushirusa, located in Eastern region Uganda Mbale District, is one of the villages in which a Quran school for orphan children had been opened, to help these orphans memorise the book of Allah.

Last year Alhaal charity was able to provide Iftar meals for 300 orphans of Madrassat Al-Noor Quran Memorization Center for the whole month of Ramadan, with the support we received from our generous donors. May Allah grant them Jannatul Firdaus.

Fund Needed

Alhaal Muslim Charity aims to raise RM7,500 to provide these orphans with iftar meals during this blessed Ramadhan on a daily basis. This year we are aiming to provide Iftar meals for more than 50 orphan children daily at RM5 per meal. The Iftar meal will include water, dates, rice and meat.

The messenger of Allah SAW said; “Whoever gives iftar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without detracting from the reward of the fasting person in the slightest”  [At-Tirmidhi]. Riyad As-Salihin 1265

Imagine the rewards when one gives the food for breaking the fasting of a Muslim, it is equivalent to that of a fasting man.
