Campaign Objective

This campaign aims at sponsoring 20 full time Quran students under ALMA'ALIY INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY who are in the process of memorising the Quran with daily meals to sustain their day to day lives, while their journey to become the custodians of the Book of Allah.

Story

Al MA’ALI ACADEMY was established in 2018 as an institution for students to attend to memorise the Quran and the books of Sunnah. The academy believes that empowering orphans and the children from economically less fortunate family with Quranic knowledge would help them raise their spiritual ranks in the akhirah, as well providing them with the skills and knowledge of teaching the Quran in turn to the society in the future.

Achievements

By the Grace of Allah, in 4 years, the academy currently house 200students, 95 males and 105 females. Through our continuous efforts and Allah’s assistance, together with donations and waqaf from supporters worldwide, the academy managed to achieve:
1. Graduated students who memorized the Qur’an with many Riwayat and Qiraat
2. Sponsored school fees for 60 orphans for a complete academic year
3. Distributed 500 copies of the Qur’an to the remote village of Danja in Katsina state
 4. Organized Quran workshops for the students of the academy and students from other schools
5. Organized academic training for students in which scholars from different communities participated.
6. Sponsored Ramadan Food basket for 40 Qur’an students (Ramadan 1443)
 

7. Distributed 500 copies of Qur’an to the village of Unguwar Ajiya
8. Sponsor 500 copies of Qur’an for the Village of Gadani
9. Sponsored Ramadan Food basket for 40 Qur’an students (Ramadan 1444)

The Challenges

Currently the academy opened a boarding school where students from different parts of the country live there for a whole year. During the program the students will be learning the following subjects Al-Qur’an, Hadith, Tauhid and Fiqhu.

As many of our students come from far away villages and some of them are not from affluent familie, it is usually a challenge for them to find food to eat. Looking at the reality of the current inflation specifically on food stuff, the management finds it very hard to feed our boarding students with good nutritionist food consistently. This is due to the economic challenges of the country and the rising cost of living especially during festive seasons. 

The Assistance

Considering all factors, we are determined to provide daily meals to our students in order to sustain them while they continue with their tasks of learning and memorising the Quran. To provide 3 meals a day for 1 student will cost RM9 only.
