Fundraising for Uncle Awni

Campaign Objective

To purchase tents with attached toilets and necessary items including food and medicines for uncle Awni and his family members in the south of Gaza.

Story

EXPELLED FROM NORTH GAZA TO SAFETY IN THE SOUTH on the 25th September 2025, our dear uncle Awni who is my mother’s brother received the dreaded warning to move out from his house because the house will soon be demolished by Isr_ali Occupation Forces.

For the past 2 years, with no aid from any NGOs in the area and no way to evacuate he barely managed to make ends meet. Under his care is his wife, 5 children, daughter in laws and 2 grandchildren and his mother (my grandmother).

Uncle Awni decided to take care of my bed ridden Grandmother; in doing so he did not follow the rest of my family members to move south. Two weeks after my grandmother passed, my uncle received a message to leave his home in the next few days.

We want to make sure he and his family live in minimally comfortable temporary accommodation in the south of Gaza until we can help with their next move Insha’Allah.

Funds Needed

We wish to purchase 3 tents with attached toilets, and necessary items including food baskets and medicines.

Every tent with attached toilet as of now costs at $1500

Kitchen Equipment, bedding and other necessities $500

Food prices as follow:
- Sugar $150/1kg
- Flour $50/25kg
- Rice $6/1kg
- Olive Oil $20/1L
-Tomato $30/1kg
- Potato $10/1kg 

We aim to raise RM30,000 to support uncle awni and his family members for 6 months.

We hereby call and invite everyone to contribute and take part in spreading kindness and extending their hands to lighten the burden of our orphan students.
