Quraany Community Sponsors 470 Qurans for Kenyan Village Students in Kiambiu

Alhamdulilah!

With your generous contributions, we have raised an incredible RM7,060 to provide much-needed copies of the Qur'an to the students and families in the rural village of Kiambiu, Kenya.

Kiambiu is a district plagued by poverty and lack of access to basic necessities. Many of the residents face daily challenges, and the youth often struggle to stay away from negative influences. Recognizing the importance of a holistic education that nurtures their hearts and minds, Al-Ihsan Islamic Educational Center established a school in Kiambiu in 2018.

However, one of the major hurdles we encountered was the shortage of Qurans for our students. A significant number of them did not have personal copies, which made it difficult for them to memorize, study, and revise the Qur'an effectively. To address this pressing issue, we launched the campaign to raise RM6,000, aiming to provide two copies of the Qur'an to each household in the village.

Alhamdulillah, through your unwavering support and generosity, we have surpassed our target. The funds raised will now enable us to sponsor 470 Musahif (copies of the Qur'an) for distribution among the students and their families in Kiambiu. Imagine the profound impact this will have on their lives, as they embark on a journey to learn and practice the teachings of Allah.
